Anyone who has bolted joints together knows the frustration of the back nut turning when tightening the front nut, preventing the bolt or stud from tightening. The solution up to now was to use a helper with either a large back-up wrench or a back-up wrench with a screw release – both slow processes. Trybar’s Multinut® comes in two styles, either two tapped semi-circles (“Crescents”) for smaller flanges, or paired nuts (“Twins”) for larger ones. Designed primarily for frequent re-use when testing flanged connections, they can be left on permanently if desired.
